So far, I've heard speculation and rumors that this was (a) a trap set by 
the police, (b) an accident that the police seized on, (c) a spontaneous act 
of civil disobedience with the aim to take and hold the bridge, (d) a 
spontaneous act of civil disobedience with the aim to march across the 
bridge, or (e) an act of civil disobedience secretly planned by a cabal of 
occupiers. It's interesting that, without knowing the goals or intentions of 
anyone involved, so many immediately supported the action.
