Indeed, for the Mac lineup. But what's wrong with the competition if they can't get their act together and produce equally robust and well (industrially) designed products ?

As for the iOS devices, well, no. They have their own chips because Intel was not able to get its act together.

The thread kind of started with Apple is a company that connects the dots. We all agree on the fact that they mostly don't create the dots. But their "dots aggregates" are way more what people want than the competitions' dot aggregates. And that shows in market share _and_ customer satisfaction surveys.

So, can we move on ?
