[lbo-talk] The opposite of twinkles

Gail Collins, in a mildly amusing column about OWS and other things:

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/08/opinion/collins-wall-street-weeks.html

mentions in passing that the opposite of twinkling is holding your fingers downwards and wiggling them. This is supposed to be silent booing. If you make the gesture, it seems to be immediately intuitable. It makes you look like a comical evil wizard trying to call down doom.

Has anyone ever run into these in real life? Do they have a name? Stinkles?

Michael
