We've been around and around on this general subject.

So, I reason what OWS needs is a tactic to cover all sides.

Mulling over the tactics this afternoon... out here and rough checking history.

If NYC is anything like SF-East Bay demographics, large numbers of minorities are represented in public employee members who are getting laid off or cutback hours. This is particularly true in the maintenance divisions of public services like city and school janitors, sanitation (aka garbage) workers, and city run collection and recycling centers.

So my suggestion is a direct outreach to these groups that form a critical base of a city's infrastructure.
