I've mentioned Scott Hamilton's book 'The Crisis of Theory: EP
Thompson, the New Left and British Postwar Politics' a few times here
and talked about it with a few people offlist. Now that it's been
published reviews have started to appear so I thought people might be
interested. There's a good one in Reviews in History:

And a bad one at Counterfire. Scott has replied, and for the second
time in a week - after Corey Robin's reply to Sheri Berman about 'The
Reactionary Mind' - it's great to see the internet providing a space
for replies and further discussion of a book, rather than letting a
negative review be the final word.
