There's an anecdote about Haywood strapping on a 44 in the IWW headquarters, announcing that he was going to clean out a nest of anarchists in New Mexico.
But our local anarchists/'IWW' (Common Action Free School) have worked quite well with others. Also LUC (Latinos Unidos para cambio) tend to exert an invisible pressure on everyone to behave. Black groups did that to some extent in the '60s -- but the Weatherman people were hopeless: hence Fred Hampton spending the last months of his life telling Black high school students why they should shun those Custeristic crazies.
