But nothing you, Eric, or Carrol have said couldn't apply equally to, say, Seattle (which of course also had a lot to do with Wisconsin; one of our own list members, a key organizer there, cut his teeth on the antiglobo protests). If you restrict your focus enough, both chronologically and geographically, sure, it was a big innovation.
