Yes, but the incarceration rate of white men - not quite 300 per 100,000 - would still rank very highly in the world, considerably above Iran (223) Mexico (200), Colombia (180), and China (120) - not to mention France (98), Germany (88), Sweden (78), and Finland (60). There's no question that imprisonment hits Latino and especially black men harder than others, but this is a system in love with incarceration.
