They might not wind up looking awful. The pro-Israeli propaganda is pretty thick and pretty effective.

The reason Palestinian children's art should be removed from the museum is because it is only evidence of the fact that Palestinian children have been brainwashed to hate Israel. Duh.

I remember watching a documentary on the intransigence and terrorism of the Irish on British TV once. The docu makers were interested in why the children irrationally hated the British. They argued that they had been brainwashed into doing so. The outstanding example given is that during catechism an Irish boy being asked what Christ had died for, replied: "He died for Ireland, father."

Yeah, but why would the pick this fight? Win or lose, they'll wind up looking awful. Average, apolitical people will consider them with disgust. Who wants that? Aside from being a classier breed of people all around, I'm pretty sure BDS activists would avoid going after children's war art for conscious strategic reasons.
