Nice photojournalism report (props to your staff photographer) and the radio segment is excellent. It does a good job of getting a sense of what it feels like to be down there. It's an usual event for nyc because it's a mix of out of towners and locals creating a longer term political space together. Usually non-locals come into town for a big march and then disappear the next day.
The occupation feels like it changes day by day. Yesterday was all about Troy Davis, so much so that it felt like Wall Street wasn't even an issue anymore. Today the crowd included young people from last night's Troy Davis march. I'm not sure if they had slept over last night in the park but this afternoon's closing bell march was more racially diverse than it's been so far.
