It would be interesting to hear an interview on Behind the News about the
French economic situation. Any good articles would be of interest to read
right now.
Just the other day in the Seattle Times they had an article only about the
fact that the Socialist Party candidate stood a good chance of winning. No
real critique or anything. Not surprising. But then I saw The Economist
magazine and they had a lot of analysis. All very negative. Not
surprising, as well.
But the problem is that there was no real analysis of what in fact the SP
candidate stands for. Both publications only mentioned that he intends on
pulling troops out of Afghanistan, hiring several thousand teachers,
increasing taxes on the rich, and against the bailout of Greece.

Sounds pretty good so far. But I don't believe the SP candidate is all
that good.
