[lbo-talk] Great art by veterans on PTSD, rape, and war

Iraq Veterans Against the War put together a great portfolio of posters and
art by Veterans. You can now see it in high resolution at the "War is
Trauma" Tumblr  http://waristrauma.tumblr.com/  . Note: by definition
graphics intensive. Not for those with slow connections or who are too
close to blind.  Though in the latter case it might be worth having a
sighted person scroll through it with  you describe it to you.

Like any collection by multiple artists they vary in quality and impact,
but some of them are individually very striking and the overall impact is
powerful. The images include a toy soldier committing suicide, and a
surrounded by pills bigger than he is and shooting from inside a medicine
capsule.  (If you don't know what the latter refers to do, soldiers being
medicated for serious mental illness like depression are being sent into
combat.)

I highly recommend taking a look.
