Whatever one might think of his other views, what Shamir says in this article is not unreasonable: <http://www.counterpunch.org/2012/08/23/the-secret-history-of-pussy-riot/>.

We're rightly shocked at two years' imprisonment for a political demonstration - while the Obama administration that provides torture and indefinite detention for revealing war crimes. 

But the political argument in this article is neither foolish nor vicious. It's worth discussing whether it's correct. --CGE
