Plus, the subject of the difference between how various countries gather, count, and interpret this data has been studied to death; these differences are well known and are used, as you said, to generate the "harmonized" differences that have been studied and published for a long time.

Wojtek thinks that he's clever enough to spend a few calories this morning thinking about this and come up with a Fatal Flaw in BLS, OECD, ILO and Eurostat's 50+ years on the subject -- and even cites a paper that directly contradicts his cleverness as part of his posting.
