[WS:} Another thought - if they can pass laws that amount to
censorship of school curriculum, this means that a similar strategy
can be used against the testing-industrial complex. One idea is to
pass the "educational choice" state laws that mandate schools to offer
different alternatives to the standardized testing that students can
choose from. For example, students can choose a standardized test, an
oral examination or a project showing mastery of an academic skill
targeted in the curriculum. Standardized testing is perhaps the most
blatant example of institutional racism in the US (and I do not use
this term lightly) - so using the legal system to fight it is
certainly something to consider.
This could be a winning strategy if the anti-evolution crowd can get
on board on the promise of having a choice of 'alternatives" to
evolution.
