Funny, I was just reviewing what Palestinian women in the '67 territories think of Hamas:
"72% of the surveyed women think that the Islamic movements will positively affect equality between females and males. However, 68% of the surveyed men said that the Islamic movements negatively affect equality between females and males."

If you're the right kind of geek, this one, on "Islamist Women's Activism in Occupied Palestine," is also worth a read:
"I can say that the status of women within Hamas is in full conformity with her status in Islam itself. This means that she is a full partner at all levels. Indeed, it would be unfair and unjust for an Islamic (or Islamist if you prefer) woman to be partner in suffering while she is excluded from the decision-making process. This is why the woman’s role in Hamas has always been pioneering."
