They've gotten considerably better in Brooklyn - about 220kB/s down and 180kB/s up lately. A year or so ago, much slower, with lots of drop-outs. Now very few. True of both our neighborhood and closer to downtown. So they must have put in a few new towers. Voice signal strength has gotten better too. Yeah, I'd rather pay less, but it doesn't feel totally outrageous.
