Just to add to the chorus, it was a niece piece and it did evoke Bob Fitch,
who I only learned about after he died. I think it was Michael Yates who
had a long essay on him that I read.
On unions, you know critiques implicitly point to reforms and more
radicalization, so these don't depress me. The points of contact with
anti-war, and occupy movements need to know this background when
they approach unions to find points of solidarity.
