"The defenders of the Egyptian coup, and the defenders of Morsi are both wrong. Morsi’s attempt to impose dictatorship cost him legitimacy long ago. But the military coup will be even worse."
This doesn't make sense. First, the population did not have a third choice. Second, the military could only take two positions: pro Morsi or anti Morsi.
It remains to be seen what the military has won, with millions of people out on the streets, other than the removal of Morsi.
