I'm ripping music, some of which I'll need to edit, and I'm using a wav format for all the music I'm ripping because I understand it's much easier to edit wav files. 

After editing, I'll need to burn a CD that's a compilation of edited and unedited wav files. 

At this point do I need to convert the wav files to MP3? Otherwise, how can I fit it all on a CD? The wav files are humongous.
