Genes or cultural beliefs cannot anticipate every situation that each individual being will face in its lifetime, therefore neither genes nor cultural beliefs can specify by an algorithm ,as they say these days, how the individual organism is to respond to every situation that arises in its life. Life presents situations to each individual that are random from the standpoint of genes or culture.
