Chuck said many nice things about some of my posts and writing. And I reciprocated, though probably not often enough. Sometimes his posts were a bit outrageous, but I am sure most of us got a kick out of these. However, he often had the most interesting and original things to say. And he was willing to tell us about himself, his life, work, politics, in a way most of us would not. Without ego, too, a very unusual thing these days. Goodbye, Chuck. Your presence enriched us.
