Bottom line: what these guys are saying is that wealth is not a zero sum game. Therefore, some can get wealthy without others becoming poor. It's just a coincidence that in the lasts thirty years, the increase in wealth for some has coincided with the immiseration of others. 

They want to talk about how everything creates wealth (ideas, entrepreneurship, risk taking, blah, blah) except the exploitation of labor. A corollary is that the resources that are turned into "wealth" are infinite. Talk about the Midas touch!
