One last thing.  Does anyone have a clue what really happened at APEC, or
on Clinton's trip.  What the US is really pushing for.  I see that James
Riaddy anounced that a bunch of Indo. banks are pledgeing to pay some big
bucks back to the Central Bank.  Is this a concession to the people in the
streets.  Who owned those banks, I wonder?

Does anyone know if any of Gore's remarks were about the people in the
streets railing against the "bosses"?  Or was it a complete sham, focusing
only on the one guy, who is probably not the hero of those people, since,
from what iI understand, he was a real cheerleader for neo-liberalism.
Anybody got a clue on the real nitty-gritty.

And BTW, does anyone know if I've been dropped from Mark's list for some
reason?

Maybe I need to delete some of these unread messages.  I have a hard time
