For all its limitations, I still like Ronald Meek's studies in the Labor
Theory of Value; as well as some of Dobb's books. They treat Marx as if
he were merely a better version of Ricardo, but they are useful
nonetheless. Also, I.I. Rubin's book are wonderful -- though they lead to
the other side as Meek and Dobb.
