It's a place where people can disagree, but this war is no ordinary topic. This will separate the... well, those who support imperialist aggression (or fail to see it for what it is) from those who oppose it. I've already signed off of another list when, after two weeks of bombing when no one said a word in opposition (except me), one member wrote to complain that Pop Tarts were being introduced into Australia, and how this represented the worst of cultural imperialism. Perhaps it does, but her priorities were definitely misplaced, considering that she'd said nothing in opposition to NATO's imperialism. And when I suggested this to her (in rather harsh terms, admittedly), finally the responses came, such as "You can't interpret her silence as support".

Besides, I had already started deleting, unread, the posts of those who support this war.
