The United Electrical Workers (UE) is expanding its national organizing staff in response to a surge of successful new organizing work. The first union chartered by the CIO, the UE is an independent union with members in 26 states and a proud, militant history of democratic rank-and-file unionism, progressive political action and cross-border solidarity. UE views organizing the unorganized as its first mission, the key step to building worker power and advancing our struggle for justice on the job and in our society.
