Jeez, the ol' memory been playing tricks on me lately. Maybe mine really is random access memory, next I'll be saying Snooks Eaglin was the most significant influece on Husserl.

Thanks for the corrections on Elvis Costello's discography and Hart & Hammerstein. On those show tunes guys that jks mentions, I hear that the book on Yip Harburg is pretty good. Me, I'll listen to show tunes as interpreted by Diamanda Galas or P.J. Harvey or for something really off kilter Will Oldham of Palace Brothers & Bonnie 'Prince' Billy or Mark E. Smith of The Fall.
