I said nothing about irony in this post. I merely noted that you had somewhat solemnly failed to note Seth's irony. And there was no need for him to signal it. Anyone who follows this list at all knows that Seth is not really opposed to dancing and gambling -- hence it was not at all difficult to pick up on his casual irony. But it is interesting to note how often those who see irony as a religion rather than a rhetorical mode can't see it when it bites them on the nose.
