Spawn of the hideous Ayn Rand, Greenspan is the epitome of retrograde elitism and is antidemocratic to the core. The fawning treatment the Fed chairman has received in recent years has had an infantilizing effect on Americans; it has encouraged "cargo cult" thinking that encourages the public to worship capitalists rather than take steps to assert control over their own destiny.
