I have no idea about how much an SUV costs, but these are working families who live in apartments and small older houses (granted some of Arlington can be pretty damn expensive). I dunno, could it be that since they aren't spending their earnings on large homes in the 'burbs, then perhaps they have more money to spend on cars?

Some of those things are awfully big.
