while i've never read it, just skimmed a few years ago, there's a book that
you should find on the shelves of a borders or b and n (fuck amazon!),
it's something of a humorous guide to class. it's titled "class". there's
also another humorous one written by someone from the south. oh and
Dorothy ....dang can't think of her name... she wrote, Bastard out of
Carolina. She has a good piece out there.... it's published as a sep.
article, but also included as an essay in an anthology. if i wasn't so
swamped i'd go look up the ref -- i know in a bib i have somewhere there
are some other refs. remind me if i don't get back to you. and when i
*really* have time on my hands, i'll transcribe a piece i have from a
reader. shouldn't be too hard.
but seriously, remind me and i'll look up my file. right now, i have to
get a new box up and running and keep up with regular work....
where's my daytimer?? i have to schedule time to breath!
heh. :)
