Here is where my thing with David Horowitz has been going. Someone forwarded him my letter to the editor where I compared him to a troll on the internet, and so he got completely offended and pissed off (it's politically incorrect and incivil to call someone a troll). He said he would only debate Randall Robinson, who I've never heard of.
Below that are some more of his insane supporters. (Horowitz says he won't post the real racist stuff on his site)
Horowitz:
>If Tim Wise is white I'm not interested. In fact, I'm not interested in
>anyone who has to be imported. If I'm going to debate I'll debate those
>involved.
>
>Mr Horowitz,
>
>I'm really disappointed that you don't want to participate in a debate on
>the UC Campus. I think it would be most appropriate to debate someone like
>Tim Wise, who has a similar background to you in that he has completed
>college and has been a writer/journalist, than some sophomore journalist at
>the Cal Student newspaper (and which one would it be anyway?) who hasn't
>even gone through school yet, much less written several books or served as
>the editor of major magazines and newspapers. Everyone knows that the Daily
>Cal is pretty weak. The liberals criticize it even more than conservatives.
>It wouldn't be an even debate... you know - you've got about 30 more years
>of rhetorical experience. Would you reconsider so that students could see
>both sides of this issue? Tim Wise is going to be in California/Oregon
>towards the end of April. He's going to be debating Dinesh D'Souza at the
>University of Oregon on April 19th/20th. Otherwise, would you debate a
>graduate student or UC professor who would want to take up on a related
>issue? And would the person have to be a not european person in order for
>this to work?

>Horowitz responds:
>Apparently you are calling me names on other sites, so this is going to be
>the last civil response you get. If I set up a debate a Cal between myself
>and a white guy who is speaking "in behalf of blacks" what do think the
>response of the African American students is going to be? There are plenty
>of black studies professors or black college graduates (since this seems to
>be important to you) who are directly involved in the reparations movement
>who can speak for the other side. I have been invited by many radio and TV
>shows to debate Randall Robinson who is a leader of this movement, but Mr.
>Robinson has refused to debate me. As have all the leaders of this
>movement. Why don't you post emails accusing them of being cowards as you
>have accused me? Don't even bother answering. Just address your emails to
>them in future. I am ready to debate any of them or anyone suitable to this
>debate in this context.
>
>Keep up your great information and enlightenment! Perhaps it will indeed
>seep through the barriers, put up by Liberals, to keep Americans
>uninformed.
>
>Young people need to understand that many black leaders, such as Jesse
>Jackson, only want to keep blacks in the victim class. This way, Jesse
>makes millions of dollars each year, all the while injecting hate and venom
>throughout our society, thus ensuring that he and his cronies all have a
>full-time job.
>
>Reparations for the blacks are as sensless as it would be for me to insist
>on reparations, because my bloodline has some Cherokee Indian.
>
>I get so frustrated with so much "in your face" antics by the militant
>blacks. There is certainly a problem in the black culture and it's that
>some carry a very big chip on their shoulder. I say "some" because I
>personally know many who are busy with careers and families and aren't
>looking for a free handout- somebody to blame failure on.
>
>There are more greatly admired black celebrities than ever in our country.
>Blacks are in Government, education, sports and many popular television
>personalities. Exactly what do the militant's want?
>
>If they think that by the U.S. paying large sums of money to them that it
>will heal anything, they are mighty wrong. They want their pockets stuffed
>from the sweat, and yes, lives of whites who are descendents of those who
>fought and died for black civil rights. It would cause such an implosion of
>resentment in our country that the Black militants would have to scurry
>back to their nests for protection.

>Just who is calling whom a rascist? God made us into seperate races. Blacks
>like the company of other blacks. Cubans live in "Little Havana" with other
>Cubans. Puerto Ricans prefer other Puerto Ricans. That, my friends, is
>rascism, pure and simple! No blacks go to my church. I do not seek out
