First off, a harumph to my silly self for not connecting all the power chords from my computer to a power strip. Power surge the other day zapped it and now it won't turn off and on! So, if any posts from Christine or Chuck Grimes I've been a missing on this, sorry. Anyway, my sense of the numbers outside milling around at about 7:30 P.M. could be revised downwards to about 150 but no lower. There was about 20 Sparts. Surprised not to see any PLP'ers selling Challenge since the Workers Vanguard had hyped their presence at UCB among the Naderites and inside the PSA that Christine is active in. As for the "Blue Meanies", my memories of the campus anti-apartheid movement back in the mid-80's and their stance last week, at least at this event, was that they were ready, of coarse, for anything, but, looked bored. But, then, as I said the day after, I did not get into the hall, so all I know about the blathering inside comes from here, and the local news report I saw around 10:30 that night. One last comment. There is a Holocaust Revisionist, Bradley Smith, with a group and website called, CODOH, Committee on Open Debate on The Holocaust. A few years back, he baited a bunch of college newspapers to run his ads, under the threat of a First Amendment fracas, if they didn't. No comparison, implied. I think. Michael Pugliese, Not sure if this webbox e-mail thingeroo is gonna send the message complete, or gonna truncate!
