Here in L.A. there's been yet another dreadful case of DWB, a Florida
surgeon on vacation here, stopped solely because he is black, was handcuffed
so tightly that he lost feeling in his hands and can no longer operate, is
suing LAPD for humungous bucks.

Given out of control police, the lights going on and off, many here feel
like it's becoming a third world country, a feeling that started with the
Democratic Convention, when the city was occupied by police and blocked off
streets, and feeling that the citizens better not interfere with the
Generals driving around in their limos.
