Hmmm, that phrase does owe something to "do as thou wilt will be the whole of the law", which dates back to Aleister Crowley/Golden Dawn/OTO, all Brits, in the early 1900's. And they were a, uh, fiesty bunch, they were. Crowley was once dubbed by the press as "The most evil man in all England".
