I don't doubt it for a minute. I would hardly characterize, though, Yoshie's posts during this moment of organizing the anti-war movement as sectarian. In fact, she seems to be going out of her way to avoid that in her organizing strategy. Note when Max crticized some of her petition's wording, she engaged him in a damned constructive and unsectarian fashion and Max is ideologically in many respects different from Yoshie. I'd say ditto for Max's engagement w/ her as well in the aftermath of 9/11. I gues I'm hoping that Dennis can disagre with Yoshie in the same fashion, not for the sake of 'good manners' but because I think it actually helps the construction of a left anti-war movement. No need for steed or steel, yoshie is quite capable of defending herself without my intervention... I'm not on lbo all the time, i didn't see previous exchanges between Yoshie and Dennis... steve
