Just a quick note to relay the news that the US has begun its bombing campaign -- "Ensuring Freedom" -- in Afghanistan as of ~12:30 Eastern Standard Time.
An emergency demonstration has been called in Toronto to meet at the US Consulate at 5pm today (Sunday). Those in other cities should assume that protests are going ahead at locations where they have been before, or should throw together even small events where possible.
