Chris, Tibet had been part of China. The "invasion" was only a matter of doing what China should have done already, close down the feudal theocracy. It's as though the U.S. had left slavery legal in Florida until 1870, and then cracked down only when some British agents engineered an insurrection in Florida against the federal troops.
