Washington still pushing the Religious Right

More on the twists and turns of the American Right and international 
terrorism.  Now _here's_ a gem, from the New Republic, "W's Unreliable 
Adviser on Islam - Blind Faith", by Franklin Foer:

It's about a guy named David Forte (yes, that's right :-)  who turns out to 
be Bush's "presidential Advisor on Islam".  Forte is also quite a militant 
religious (Catholic - like Pat Buchanan) conservative.  Foer also states 
Forte completely ignores the connection between Wahhabism and Al 
Qaeda.  How convenient, for relations with Saudi Arabia.
