The coverage of Israel/Palestine has been getting gradually better over the past few years, though far from perfect. Who knows what effect this will have, however.

As for Giuliani, his performance has been far more compassionate and confidence-inspiring than that of, say, Bush fleeing to his Nebraska nuclear shelter, or the rest of the administration hunkering down in "safe houses." Cheney was nowhere to be seen.
