Biology can certainly become an excuse but what is it that makes excuses and recriminations necessary? Do you think it's possible to have soul-sharing sex like Joanna describes under the ego-bruising stare of a judgemental, exacting partner? If you're into S/M, maybe. Otherwise, if things have gotten to the point where demands are made of and excuses contrived for sexual behavior, fughedaboudit, just move on.
