or if there are no anonymizers out there that folks can use, i can try to setup an SMTP server that folks can relay through, and i can anonymize the posts to a single address at my end that can be subscribed to the list (so the posts are accepted) (for the technical folks: yes, there is only a bit of difference between doing this and just asking you to use a new random address to post from).
additionally, since many newbies might be unaware of the unintended consequences of their posts, perhaps some of us can draft up some helpful text (on how to anonymize yourself) that doug can also add to the intro message and web site?
