Not when "mainstream liberals" (who won't even use the L-word) are to the right of Richard Nixon. And that's NOT an overstatement. It is is literally true. No Dem could get nominated to any office of trust, much lesselected, running on the platform of things taht Richard Nixon actually did or pressed for. He's be howled off the political scene as a freaking communist. Guaranteed annual income? Wage and price controls?! Strong advocate for affirmative action (it was Nixon who basically implemented the program . . .

. ) What kind of lunatic can this be? I miss Tricky Dick, bring him back. Nixon's the one! (Watch Nathan have an aneyurism . . . . )
