It is self-defeating to prefer living under guys with bigger guns & 
more ammunitions to living under guys with smaller guns & fewer

Obviously a sarcastic rhetorical q.  But your logic invites
some pretty wild conclusions.  Slaves & Confederacy;
Poles & Nazis; Phillipinos and Imperial Japanese; etc.
