Of course many opponents of particular wars _do_ support military action in other cases. For example those Germans who never ceased opposing the Nazi rule and welcomed military action against Germany. (Of course most of them, having survived Hitler, were crushed in one way or another by the U.S. occupation, but that's another topic.] But budge is also correct (as is Yoshie in her follow-up] that those who actively urge the sacrifice of lives in Afghanistan, Iraq, etc. in the service of imperialism while carefully avoiding military service themselves are peculiarly offensive.
