Gen. Moltenskoi not confirming reports on Maskhadov's death KHANKALA. Sept 5 (Interfax) - The command of the combined federal forces in the North Caucasus has no information on the death of Aslan Maskhadov, Commander of the force Col. Gen. Vladimir Moltenskoi told Interfax on Thursday.
"Raw and unconfirmed information is not a reliable fact that would make it possible to put a period to the personal biography of the odious guerilla leader," Moltenskoi said.
