And they're having morale and retention problems with a professional army. Imagine a bunch of conscripts! Fragging anyone?

Especially with kids these days being so out of shape and obese; I'd guess kids in the 50s and 60s were much fitter generally. At the high school I drive by every morning, many of the teens are just enormous, huge beachballs rolling down the street.
