It's not a question of legality, but of tactics. To deny a very prominent
anti-war lefty like Lerner the chance to speak at an anti-war rally is
lunacy. Perhaps ANSWER cares more about controlling the anti-war movement
than it does about building the broadest anti-war movement possible?

--Luke, if the argument Cooper et al made were that, well, there might be
something to it. in fact that is the argument that max has consistently
made.  I'm not entirely convinced by it, but at least he doesn't resort to
the 'banning' and 'first admendment'  non-issues.  cooper and corn have an
axe to grind, this has little to do with objecitons to tactics, it's just
one more method of dividing the anti-war movement.
