Evil is a bad thing.

So, if that subset of the USG that the Repugs adore using everytime they are in office backs down from exercising the death machine would that be a choice or just a feint in the deus ex machina called imperialism? Yes, I know the Dems. are worse.

Any socialism that didn't take over the entire planet in 5 minutes would by it's very constitution also be an imperialistic system until it had replaced those pockets of the global political-ecology-economy still under the sway of capitalism. Would that be a bad thing? Is only one kind of imperialism bad?
